SOCIAL PROGRAMME

It's not all work and no play! Cape Town offers delegates a host of exciting activities. With the ICA 2010 Congress situated at the foot of Table Mountain, in the heart of Cape Town's CBD and within walking distance of the V&A Waterfront, delegates have a feast of world-class facilities at their feet - including a variety of restaurants, an exciting nightlife and world famous sight-seeing spots. As a matter of fact, being spoilt for choice can be a little bit overwhelming!

To assist ICA 2020 delegates in having the "ultimate" Cape Town experience, the ICA 2010 Social Programme Committee has planned the following social programme below, so that delegates are able to enjoy an overall experience of the Mother City and it's surrounds.

Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception will be a relaxed outdoor picnic hosted by the Premier of the Western Cape province, at her historic Leeuwenhof residence. The estate is situated at the foot of Table Mountain with dramatic views of this Cape Town icon. A perfect opportunity to reconnect with colleagues from around the world and to see the beauty Cape Town has to offer.

Gala Dinner

The Gala Dinner promises the opportunity to experience something very African, in a dramatic venue situated outside the Convention Centre - the historic Castle of Good Hope, the oldest building in Cape Town. A delicious African feast will be complemented by South African music and entertainment and the evening will resonate with the sound of beating drums, closing with a spectacular fire show.
