Welcome to the IAA Council and Committee Meetings!

In accordance with the IAA Meeting Structure, the following committees will be meeting in-person in Tallinn:
  • Actuarial Standards
  • Audit and Finance
  • Executive
  • Insurance Accounting
  • Insurance Regulation
  • Nominations 
  • Strategic Planning

    • These meetings provide an opportunity for these groups to discuss ongoing projects and consider new developments.

    In conjunction with the IAA meetings, o    ur local host association, Eesti Aktuaaride Liit will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a conference on September 27th. 

     In bringing together actuaries and other experts from around the world, they are key events for the international actuarial profession and the global financial industry to network and collaborate. While we strongly encourage all participants to take part in-person and physically be in Tallinn, a virtual option will be offered for some sessions for increased participation, subject to availability. Meeting time slots have been set based on in-person participation and may be at inconvenient hours for virtual attendees.

    Photographs will be taken of delegates during various sessions, events, breaks and lunches. All photographs remain the sole propriety of the IAA and may be used in our Social Media feeds (Example: LinkedIn, Facebook etc.), Annual Reports or other communications, at the IAA's sole discretion. By registering for the Council and Committee meetings, registrants hereby give permission to the IAA for use of any photograph taken during this event.

    The IAA will utilize the Zoom platform to host and record the virtual component of these meetings. While most recordings will be used exclusively for accurate minute taking, some will be made available to members unable to attend their respective meetings. By registering for the Council and Committee meetings, participants acknowledge this usage.
