IAA Health Section
The Health Section of the International Actuarial Association (IAA) is a robust forum to conduct research, exchange views, and network on issues related to understanding health and well-being trends and managing the financial risks associated with healthcare. We support the IAA in its mission to be recognized globally as leading experts in risk and financial security and contributing to the well-being of society.
As an active section, we promote and facilitate exchange of views, advice, research and practical information among actuaries globally involved with public and private health care and insurance topics.
Our members can get involved in one of the IAAHS project teams that include (learn more here):

Every year, IAAHS offers several podcasts and webcasts on topics of interest to members. These offerings are provided free of charge to IAAHS members, have addressed a range of topics such as public health systems, long-term care, micro-health insurance, risk adjustment, Solvency II and ERM, and stochastic modeling.
