Stuart F. Wason FSA, FCIA, Hon FIA
With more than 40 years of actuarial and supervisory management experience, Stuart continues to be actively involved in the work of the actuarial profession. He currently serves as Chair of the IAA’s Insurance Regulation Committee (IRC) as well as serving as the IAA Delegate to the IAALS Board. He served as Senior Director, Actuarial Division of the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada (OSFI) from September 2007 until he retired in April 2016. Mr. Wason was actively involved from 2008-2015 in international regulatory matters as OSFI’s representative to the International Association of Insurance Supervisors’ Insurance Groups Sub-Committee (IGSC) and also to the Joint Forum.
Michael Eves, FIA
A 40-year actuarial veteran in both insurance and reinsurance across both Life and Health, and Property and Casualty businesses. He has been a vice-chair of the IAA ‘s Insurance Regulation Committee, Chairman of the Reinsurance sub-committee and a member of IAA ‘s mortality working group. He is currently the Certifying Actuary for Swiss Re Asia Ltd. He was the Group Chief Actuary in Zurich as well as the Accountable Actuary for the Swiss Re Zurich legal entity. He is also a director for life and reinsurance companies in the UK and Australia.
Annie Tay, FIA, CERA
A 20-year actuarial and risk practitioner in (re)insurance specialising in Life and Health and Finance/Investment businesses. She has been a consultant, Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer for multinationals at the operational and group level. She is currently the Corporate Development Director for Vitality UK, and a member of the IAA – AFIR ERM Board. She is also an independent director for the Chartered Insurance Institute UK – Audit and Risk Committee. She has experience in the Asia Pacific, UK & Europe and N. America jurisdictions.
