Qualifications: Associate of the Society of Actuaries, Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (CCA), BS in Applied Mathematics (Indiana University of Pennsylvania). Ed was the 2019 President of the CCA and chairs its Healthcare Community. He also serves on the Strategic Planning Committee of the International Actuarial Association (IAA).
Experience: Ed has more than 35 years of experience developing human resource philosophies and supporting strategies to improve employer’s return on their investment in human capital. Prior to founding MorningStar Actuarial Consulting, Ed was Chief Operating Officer with American Fidelity Administrative Services, LLC, a Partner with Ernst & Young, a consultant for two large consulting firms, Mercer and Buck Consulting, and the Assistant Actuary for a large health insurance company.

Experience: Pedro had been a Life and Health Director in MAPFRE Tepeyac, CEO of Zurich Life México, CEO of AIG Life México, and currently the CEO and co-founder of Prevem Seguros ( A&H Company ) and member of the Board of Argos (Life Insurance), ANA (Automobile Insurance), GMX (Property and Casualty Insurance) and MAS SERVICIOS (Assistance Company), all companies of Grupo Valore Mexican Insurance Group. He is a professor of Life Insurance and Finance at the Faculty of Actuarial Science of Anáhuac University since 2003 , and was a professor at the Masters in Insurance program of ITAM from 1997 until 2007.

Adrian is Chief Underwriting Officer at Bupa in the UK where he has worked for over 10 years and has been in his current role since 2019 having previously been Chief Actuary in International Markets. He is currently Chair of IAAHS and a Member of the IFoA Health & Care Board. He was a founding member of the Covid-19 Actuaries Response Group. He was previously President of the Actuarial Society of South Africa in 2006/7 and served on the IFOA Council. He moved from South Africa to the UK in 2009 and lives and works in London.

Luis Maldonado

This includes work with insurance carriers, health plans, hospitals, IPAs, employer groups, brokers, and PBMs. His projects have involved calculating premiums, reviewing capitation contracts, analyzing benefit changes, and financial projections, among others.
