Dear Colleagues:
We are very glad to announce that we are organizing the ASTIN, AFIR/ERM and IAALS Colloquia in Mexico City, to take place from October 1st to the 4th, 2012.
On the Colloquia dates, we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Asociación Mexicana de Actuarios (Mexican Association of Actuaries) and the 30th of the Asociacion Mexicana de Actuarios Consultores (Mexican Association of Consulting Actuaries). In addition, we will commemorate ten years of having hosted the International Congress of Actuaries in Cancun, Mexico.
The Colloquia´s objective is to promote the publication of papers that contribute to the betterment and enhancement of the Actuarial Profession. We invite you to participate in these events by coming to Mexico in October 2012, as well as by presenting papers to promote Actuarial knowledge. The events and topics covered will be:
ASTIN Colloquium: Related to themes and topics of General Insurance and Property & Casualty
AFIR/ERM Colloquium: Related to themes and topics of Financial Risk
IAALS Colloquium: Related to themes and topics of Life Insurance
Keynote Speakers
During these events we will also have the participation of keynote speakers with international experience, who will share with us their ideas during their schedule presentations:

Michel Liès: Chief Executive Officer, Swiss Re
Patricia Guinn: Managing Director Risk & Financial Services, Towers Watson
Paul Embrechts: Professor of the Department of Mathematics, ETH Zurich
Scientific Committees
The most important activities in these events will be the papers presentations, by the participants of the Colloquia, on the topics of General Insurance, Financial Risk and Life. Thus we invite you to actively participate sending papers to be presented during the events. The basis for the acceptance of papers are included in the Call for Papers section on this webpage.

Venue
The venue of the event will be the Maria Isabel Sheraton Hotel, located on Reforma Avenue, one of the most important locations in Mexico City, with easy access to the major museums, tourist attractions and the downtown area.
