Actuarial Society of South Africa - F206 Banking Applications - This is the 2017 Banking Fellowship syllabus from the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
IAA Banking Survey by the Education Committee (September 2016) - This is a sample of the questions which were presented in the survey conducted by the Banking Education Interest Group. This survey was conducted to identify how involved actuaries are in banks across the globe and the level of interaction support that member associations give their members who are currently involved in banking.
IAA Banking Survey Report (November 2016) - This paper reports back on the responses to the first Banking Survey (2016) issued by the Banking Education Interest Group. The report identifies banking as a key and growing area of involvement by actuaries across the globe. It provides examples of areas within banking where actuaries are actively involved. Several suggestions are provided on how to expand the banking specialty across the globe.
Role of Actuaries in Banking (November 2016) - This paper outlines the results of the IAA Banking Working Group and builds significantly on the work conducted by the Actuarial Society of South Africa (ASSA) Banking Task Force from 2009 and 2010. The findings of their survey and recommendations are provided. This paper also provides feedback from Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. A brief description of the ASSA Banking Committee activities is also provided.
