T01. Hong Kong Island Tour

  The Peak offers a breathtaking panorama of Victoria Harbour and the Kowloon Peninsula. You will be able to enjoy a scenic view of Repulse Bay, a popular summer escape for swimmers. Just around the corner is Stanley which is famous for its relaxed ambience and street market. Shopping at Stanley Market is always fun and there are many bargains to be found.

 

T02. Lei Yue Mun Seafood Village Dinner Cruise

Date: 7 May 2012 (Monday)
Time: 1800 – 2100
Tour Price: HK$500 (US$65) per person
(Open-bar on the boat (unlimited drinks) and Chinese Set Dinner at restaurant)
(No pick-up service. Participants have to get to pick-up point at 1800 by themselves.)

wld_1   Lei Yue Mun Seafood Village, situated at Hong Kong's Eastern Harbour and still carrying on much Chinese heritage, is widely known to the gourmets as a seafood paradise. Here visitors are attracted to many traditional scenes, like people making choice from a variety of seafood fresh from fishmongers' stalls and tanks, and have it cooked to their own specifications in one of Lei Yue Mun's many restaurants. This evening cruise which promises you not only some wonderful experience, but a great value for money, begins with a harbour cruise on a traditional Chinese sightseeing junk to sail around the Victoria Harbour, and thereafter takes you to Lei Yue Mun Seafood Village for a brief walk ashore, and for a delicious Chinese Dinner. On the return journey, enjoy more of the glittering harbour views by night.

 

T03. Kowloon Experience Tour

The tour will take you to the famous "Jade Market", an open-air market where tradesmen buy and sell rare stones and finished ornaments. We will then visit the Wong Tai Sin Temple, where you can pay homage to the blessed "God of Immigrants" and have your fortune told by the wise ones. Finally, step back in time with a visit to the Chi Lin Nunnery. It is stunning with its monastery complex having been renovated as a piece of Tang dynasty architecture

 

T04. Macao Excursion

Date: 9 May 2012 (Wednesday)
Time: 0900 – 1800

An hour's hydrofoil ferry ride brings you to the previous Portuguese enclave – Macao. Macao is rich in culture and heritage. You will enjoy visiting the 16th-century Kun Iam Temple and travelling up Penha Hill and Chapel for a magnificent view of the city. The tour will also lead you to the Ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral, Monte Fort, Senado Square and Avenida da Praia Residences. There are plenty of casinos in Macau offering a wide range of games.

(Price includes round trip economy class ferry ticket between Hong Kong and Macao, transportation, Western Lunch, professional English speaking guide and admission fees.)

Terms and Conditions

  1. Bookings are subject to acceptance on a first-come-first-served basis.
  2. On receipt of completed form and payment, confirmation will be sent to the participant.
  3. Some tours will be on a seat-in coach basis with non-IAA 2012 participants. In the event of no-show, payment is not refundable.
  4. All tour prices include an English-speaking guide service throughout, unless otherwise specified.
  5. The tour pick-up time and place will be specified on the tour voucher which will be delivered on-site, unless otherwise specified. Please reconfirm the tour pick up point and time at the tour desk.
  6. Final tour arrangements are subject to change in weather conditions and minimum quota requirements. In the event of cancellation of tours, the only liability of the Conference Secretariat is to refund the tour fees paid.
  7. Participants are advised to arrange personal travel insurance to cover loss incurred in case of cancellation, medical expenses and damage or loss of personal effects. The Conference Secretariat will accept no liability for personal injuries or for loss or damage to property belonging to the participants during the organised tours.

Payment Policy
Tour fee is required at time of reservation and will be charged if the tour can be operated.
Cancellation charge will be applied as follows if cancellation notice is received:

On or before 16 April 2012

50% of the tour fee

After 16 April 2012

100% of the tour fee
